Unable to access admin shares windows 7

A growing problem that I have been encountering is accessing administrative shares on client PCs Windows 7 from the domain controller Windows Server I get an error message stating that there is a network error.

There are a few client PC's on the domain which exhibit this problem. I have removed the client PC from the domain and then readded it. The same problem persists. Are there any recommendations on how to pursue this issue? I have a feeling that it is a domain issue. I have resolved the problem. File sharing is not enabled on the PC's. I have been able to access the administrative shares on the client PC's without file sharing enabled.

On the client PC's where it is not possible to access the administrative shares, I can ping a couple of PC's, but not the other five. Check to make sure GPOs aren't the cause. I have a strange problem, whereby in the range of computers I run at home, which are either W7 or WIndows , I cannot connect to administrative shares, but I can connect to normal shares. The kicker is that I can access the administrative shares on the Windows 7 machines from from my XP machines and the Windows 7 machines can access the administrative shares on the Windows XP machines but the Windows 7 machines can't access the administrative shares on the other Windows 7 machines.

On the betas and rc if you have homegroup enabled admin shares won't work, even if you carry out the reg hack. RTM works fine with homegroups and admin shares providing the hack is enabled.
