Yeah, this is rather specific, so I figured this would be the best forum to put it in. Basically what I'm looking for is some advice on making dress-up games or just a way to make click and drag games more efficiently than I do now without using Adobe Flash.
A little bit of my programming history: A couple years ago when I was a novice artist not that I'm not one now I started making dress-up games on my deviantART. That was with the free trial of Adobe Flash, so obviously I wasn't able to make them for too long. A few months ago I was inspired to make them again, and so I tested it out of a few different engines and found I was able to make them using Stencyl.
Of course, if you've ever used Stencyl, you know it's definitely not the best game design engine out there. It fills up with memory a lot, isn't too customizable unless you know the coding language which is some kind of combination between ActionScript 3 and Java or something , and doesn't allow you to change the size of the hitboxes, meaning I can't change the area that's drag-able for the items. So, these are the problems I'm trying to fix. So yeah. Does anyone know a better engine or even just a better way to make click and drag games without Flash?
