That is just the start, you see Zoombinis has a pretty smart progression where the game gets gradually harder and harder.

I like the difficulty level in the game and I have a hard time imagining kids getting so frustrated that they want to just quit. This is what the kids these days refer to as an HD remake of the original Zoombinis. I think that calling the game that is a bit unfair. Yes, the premise and idea of the game are the same. However, the work done on the art is pretty outstanding. The backgrounds have been completely redrawn and they really do pop.

I think that the game has a rather cell shaded, but in a washed-out kind of way look and I love it. The whole game is just very charming and that even goes for the sound design. The voice acting is very cheesy, but it fits the style of the game very well. I would imagine kids who played this would find the Zoombinis, the trolls and other characters in the game very amusing. However, I do feel that as far as educational games go, Zoombinis has a ton of heart and it is rather fun to play as well.

If you have kids and want them to play a game that is going to teach them as well as let them have fun. You can do a lot worse than Zoombinis. Also, if you played this game when you were a kid, give it a try as I am sure you will love what they have done with this newer version. It was a fairly popular educational PC game and it has been brought back for this generation of kids. It's very similar to the original! The redesign of the art is very good, but it maintains the charm of the original because of having mostly the same animation for the various creatures you meet along the way, as well as having the same voice acting.

It has different difficulty modes, which is a great update too. I had gotten this game years ago for my girls and now I am so pleased to find it available for my granddaughters. It gets progressively harder with each level but keeps the kids' attention with the quirky and cute characters.

We home school and count this is a part of their math curriculum now as it is teaching them logic with fundamentals of math. An added bonus is that our ADHD kid has learned to concentrate better and be patient both with herself and the game.

She will sit still long enough to take her Zoombinis through a whole trek from the ship to their new land because she wants to find out what new building she earns in Zoombiniville. Our kids are 6 and 8. The 6-year-old needs a little help but is eager to play the game too.

They love it! I like that it is a thinking game with lots of patterns. The kids really like the pizza guy! This remaster of the classic Zoombinis game manages to inspire nostalgia while also looking much better than the original.

All the visuals have been redone and look pretty amazing. Meanwhile, all the puzzles are the same as they were in the original.

Great game. A good game to teach young ones some logic. But some puzzles are very difficult and the hints are usually very vague. Lots of trial and error. Be sure to supervise. I bought this game for my children in the 90s. We all loved the game. Had found the old CD and wanted to relive the memories. The Zoombinis have been reborn in this version but all the original charm and fun of the game remain.
